Up for Auction is a Vietnam Era US Army OG-107 Ripstop Tropical Jungle "Boonie" Hat. The hat is in NOS Unissued Condition. The lable has a 1969 Contract Date. It is a Size 6 7/8. Very RARE to find with the Original Insect Netting in this Condition. They don't get any bettern than this one.

The 2nd pattern OG-107 boonie hat was made of Quarpel (Quartermaster developed repellent) treated rip-stop cotton poplin, rather than the plain cotton of the original. Like its predecessor it was issued with an insect net.
