The Medium Rucksack was designed to fill a gap between the Assault Pack, which was often too small, and the Large Rucksack, which was often too large for 2-3 day missions.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nThe Medium Rucksack has numerous internal and external compartments, allowing you to organize your gear.  There are two large external zippered compartments on the front of the pack that each have pockets inside as well as a plastic D-ring hook.  There is a large internal pocket along back of pack to support a hydration system. The main compartment has a harness assembly to support the Advanced System Improvement Program (ASIP) Radio. There are two internal pockets sized for 60mm mortar rounds.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nThe Medium Rucksack has a top carrying handle with two side release attachment straps which allow you attach additional equipment externally to the pack. There are three hook-and-loop ports designed to allow you to route hydration tubes, antennas, etc. from inside the main compartment.
